Do you like finding hidden treasures? Or love the challenge of solving puzzles?

Then you won’t want to miss GeoCatting, FCCO’s twist on Geocaching. Geocaching is a fun hunt for hidden objects using GPS coordinates. Our GeoCatting trail will have nine hidden CATche locations. You can use GPS coordinates and/or clues to discover and locate the 9 CATches hidden inside Portland-area businesses. The more CATches you find, the more chances you will have to win some great prizes!

GeoCatting will be fun and you’ll also discover treats and other goodies while you are out searching for the CATches. We hope to see you on the trail!

How the GeoCatting will work: 

  • The trail will go live on June 1, 2025.

  • Each registrant will get a link on your RECEIPT to a password-protected page with the 9 GeoCATche Clues. NOTE: some phones/devices may prompt to create your own password. Do not do this - simply choose Not Now and use the one we provided on your receipt.

  • The password-protected page lists all nine GPS coordinates and clues. 

  • Registration will remain open until June 25, 2025. 

  • You may register as an individual or as a team. Each registration is $30 - either individual or team. Prize drawing entries are linked to each registration. If everyone on your team wants a chance to win, they will want to register separately!

  • Using the provided GPS coordinates and clues, participants will have to locate each of the 9 hidden GeoCATches. The trail does not have a specific order; participants can locate GeoCATches in whichever order suits them.

  • The goal is to find all nine GeoCATches by June 25, 2025.  

  • Each GeoCATche found equals an entry for the registrant into a drawing, with a grand prize valued at $450! The drawing will happen at 3pm on June 25, 2025, at FCCO’s 30th Anniversary Open House Celebration!
