At the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon, we believe the best option is to work collaboratively to find solutions that help cats and birds. We have worked with the Bird Alliance of Oregon for over two decades and now welcome Bird Conservation Oregon to this unique partnership. We share a common goal of fewer cats living outdoors.

Our organizations, along with Multnomah County Animal Services and Washington County Animal Services, are working together on the Cats Safe at Home™ program where we encourage people to not let their pet cats roam free. Fewer free-roaming cats means less predation on wildlife by all cats, whether they are pets or feral cats. As importantly, it also means fewer cats born on our streets if the cats aren’t spayed/neutered. Through this approach we can bring our community together toward a safer and healthier environment for both cats and wildlife.
